THE ASTROLOGICAL EDGE… February 2013

One of the missions of Neptune while it travels through Pisces is to reveal to us where we can place our trust. What you have blindly put your faith in up until now is being subjected to forces of change and dissolution. You can no longer count on what guided you in the past. Whether this concerns political, religious, or business authorities or some other external factor in which you have invested all your trust, it is now dissolving so that you can get in touch with something you can really believe and thus be immune to future disappointment.

Because Chiron is conjoining Neptune in Pisces (an aspect that lasts throughout 2013), you may recall the times in your life when you had given your trust and had been wounded as a result. There is an urge to bring to the surface of consciousness those past situations where you counted on something or someone to pull you through, only to end up being disappointed. A yearning for something worthy of your trust is dawning, and with it a new openness to the help that can be offered by spiritual forces.

The transit of Neptune through Pisces (a cycle lasting fourteen years) is primarily going to be about learning to put your trust in a direct connection with these spiritual forces instead of feeling that your only resort is to turn to some outer, external authority.

Mercury conjoins Neptune and Chiron in Pisces form the 1st to the 11th. During these days, your thinking may be especially confused, but the confusion can open a path to a higher level of understanding of the subtle forces that are operating in your life.

Mars, too, gets into the mix, conjoining Neptune and Chiron in Pisces (in effect until the 9th). During these days, taking action can lead to a bit of confusion. You may feel that you would b better off by just going with the flow instead of opposing anything directly . . . . .

THE ASTROLOGICAL EDGE gives insights into the current “windows of opportunity” available for successfully navigating your life and is one of the regular monthly features that is part of membership on this site.

Your first three days are free and you may cancel easily at any time.

Every month on the day of the NEW MOON, the energy in the atmosphere opens to receive new seeds. For centuries, farmers all over the world have used New Moon cycles for planting their crops. You can use the same potent energy for planting the seeds of dreams and goals you want to manifest in your life. The New Moon day is a POWER DAY, a time to take charge of your life by taking pen in hand and writing down a list of up to ten wishes. Wish for whatever you would like to manifest in your life, but wish especially for those things you have not yet been able to attain, even though you have wanted them for a long time. Focus, and be specific.

Because this month’s New Moon occurs in AQUARIUS, you may want to include wishes on your list concerning the following categories: innovative ideas, friends, knowledge, equality, objectivity, altruism, and unexpected surprises.

Sample wishes:
“I want to be filled with new, innovative ideas for successfully achieving my dreams”
“I want to easily attract and begin happy new friendships”
“I want to feel a sense of friendship and equality with everyone I meet”
“I want to find myself easily filled with a sense of joyful excitement and awakening in every area of my life!”

For exact best times for wishing, log in to http://www.janspiller.com and select the “New Moon Power Days” icon located on the members home page, three days prior to the New Moon.

NEW FEATURE: All members automatically receive the exact best times for wishing in their inboxes each and every month.

I just received the Astrological Edge for February and I have to say it was somewhat alarming. In the first part you say that everything we have believed in or put our trust in is going away in a sense.

How can that be if I believe in God, The Archangels and Mother Mary? Are you saying that the connection I have to them is going away and being replaced by something greater? What can be greater than God? He’s the one that got me through the hell in my life I’ve been through. I can’t imagine anything greater or more powerful than God’s love.

I may be misinterpreting what you have written, but I have to say it was really suprising to read such a bold statement.

I subscribe to your website and read your columns religiously, but this one really didn’t sit well with me.

I’d like to ask you to give a little more explantion if possible. I am sure there are other readers who may feel the way I feel.

    Thanks so much.

      Dear Alexia,

Thank you so much for your email.

You made such an excellent point: “What can be greater than God? He’s the one that got me through the hell in my life I’ve been through.”

First of all, truth works. Your faith in God and relying on God’s help to get you through life struggles worked. Never doubt what works in your life on a deep level of satisfaction.

What is dissolving with Neptune transiting through Pisces is our dependence upon the icons – the human leaders in politics, religion, and business. The habit of blindly trusting those in authority to do what is best for us is dissolving. In its place, we are beginning to trust in ourselves more, our own inner knowing of what is ‘right’ and true for us. What is emerging is a strengthening of the invisible spirit that is our direct connection with the Infinite, or God, or that Spirit one turns to directly in prayer. There is a new vision of a greater power that we can trust and rely on to heal us and help us emerging. Neptune in Pisces is only at 2 degrees of Pisces, so its pretty early in the cycle!

I hope this helps to clarify things. As you mentioned, there may be others who were not sure how to interpret the article. Thank you again for writing in.

      With Love,
      Jan
